Authentic Israeli Krav Maga in Massachusetts
Our group Krav Maga classes are suitable for adults aged 18+. Before joining one of our regular Krav Maga classes, you will need to attend one of our introductory classes. These will teach you some of the fundamental drills we use to build fighting skills, and teach you how to use and work with some of the pads and kick shields that we regularly employ in training. The advantage to having a separate introductory class is that we don’t need to take time out in regular classes to teach people how to use equipment and train safely etc.
Our regular Krav Maga classes are broken down into 30-minute segments, with each one focusing on a different aspect of Krav Maga training e.g., effective power striking, groundwork, sparring etc. The advantage to breaking up classes into these smaller segments is that it gives students a greater flexibility as to how they structure their training e.g., they can start an hour of training at either 6:00 pm or 6:30 pm, or train for 90-minutes etc. One of our goals is to make Krav Maga training both flexible and accessible.
If you are interested in taking regular, group Krav Maga classes, please sign up for an introductory class, using the button below.
Whilst group classes tend to advance people through the Krav Maga Yashir syllabus faster and more effectively and is the route that we recommend for most people, we also recognize that the times when our group classes are held aren’t always times that people are available to train. There are also certain groups whose training needs might be more targeted and specific and require different material to be taught e.g., those working in law-enforcement, private security etc. For these individuals and small groups, we can provide private training sessions. If you are interested in looking at whether Krav Maga Yashir can accommodate your needs, please contact us, using our contact form, which can be accessed by clicking here.
The workplace, and the commute to and from work, should be a safe experience for employees. Many companies have brought security specialist/professional Gershon Ben Keren into their organization to inform members on how to improve their personal safety. Gershon is a Criminologist who has been studying the way that violent incidents occur. With less of a focus on criminality (the reasons that people engage in violent offenses e.g., poverty, socialization, education etc.), and more of an emphasis on the criminal incident itself – the when, where and other environmental factors that are at play in acts of violence – many acts of violence, can be predicted, prevented and avoided etc. By examining these factors and the processes that violent offenders use to access those they target and victimize it is possible to educate people to manage and mitigate the risk of becoming a victim of violence. iframe you are interested in bringing this type of training to your organization please contact us by clicking here.
If you/your department/agency are looking to expand their self-protection and physical self-defense training then it is likely that we can meet your needs. Whilst Krav Maga was initially a very combative style of combat involving strikes and punches to disable attackers, it has since evolved into a system which has effective and proven methods for subduing and controlling aggressors using control and restraint, and pain compliance methods. This also includes approaches toward verbal and non-verbal conflict communication etc. If you are interested in bringing any aspects of this type of training to your department or company please contact us using the contact form which can be accessed by clicking here. Most of the training that we provide to law-enforcement is done so pro bono.
